A few necessary items in your pets’ first aid kit should include:

1. Trauma pad

Highly absorbent trauma pad with a moisture-resistant barrier stops bleeding associated with deep lacerations, burns, and fractures.

For wrapping and securing minor wounds, as well as stopping bleeding.

6. Antiseptic swab

Antiseptic swab is also known as antiseptic cotton swab. It is a medical tool used to clean or disinfect wounds and skin surfaces. It is usually made of cotton fibers wrapped at one end of a thin stick or plastic stick and impregnated with antiseptic disinfectants such as alcohol, iodine or other disinfectants. Using antiseptic cotton swabs can help reduce the risk of wound infection.
